For over ten years, Suasion has partnered with organizations to develop and execute successful marketing strategies and communication plans. At the most in-depth levels, these services can cost tens of thousands of dollars. While we have a passion for helping organizations market well, we recognize that many small entities do not have the financial resources to hire a marketing firm. Therefore, we have decided to share our expertise with deserving nonprofits and for-profits through an interactive workshop.

In this three-day, intensive workshop you will learn from and work directly with experts who have developed successful marketing strategies and communications for hundreds of organizations – both for-profit and nonprofit, from small, grassroots community organizations to large entities with national and international scopes.

Highly Interactive & Individualized
We will walk you, step by step, through the process of creating an effective marketing strategy, as well as an executable communications plan. As the name implies, this is designed to be a hands-on, working session rather than a typical training where there is a one-way flow of information. You will be engaged and equipped, and actively develop your organization’s plan. Doing so in an interactive group environment, means you also will benefit from others’ ideas and insights.

Unique Three-Day Format
To help you develop a truly effective strategy, we conduct the workshop over three days with a two-week period between the first and third sessions to conduct research and vetting. The first day of the workshop will focus on the framework needed for the marketing strategy. You will then have a two-week period to obtain the information needed or to vet elements of the marketing strategy with others in your organization. The second day, we will discuss your developing plan and refine it. You will get valuable feedback from the experts, as well as input and ideas from your peers in the group. The third day will focus on developing the communications plan including specific tactics and a timeline.  This three-day format will provide the depth of thinking needed to create a strong strategy and plan that can be executed within your organization.

Industry-exclusive
We will accept registrations from only one organization within an industry to prevent competitors from attending the same workshop. This provides a safe environment for you to discuss your individual goals and issues.

The Instructors
This workshop will be led by Victoria Lindstrom, founder and President of Suasion. With over 30 years of experience in all aspects of strategic planning and marketing including market research, advertising, public relations, branding, website development, and engagement marketing. Victoria is particularly skilled in understanding complex situations, clarifying objectives, and developing strategies and plans to accomplish them. She has worked with both for-profit and non-profit organizations, including those with local, regional and national scopes.

Karen Gross, Vice President of  Suasion will share her deep expertise in strategic marketing and the effective use of communications tactics.
